As Life Mel is 100% natural, like all honey it is susceptible to the climate. It has a very high sugar content, which means that in cold weather it may crystallize and thicken. Please rest assured that this is a natural process and that the properties of Life Mel will not be altered. We normally recommend that the jar is either left on a radiator for a while, or you can stand it in some hot water. Using a metal spoon that has been warmed will also help.
